subzerostudio
I have set up a site for a client - jamacs.co.uk. The problem that we are having is that the site has had plenty of hits, but a very low conversion rate of orders from people that visit the site (about 0.16%). Is this a normal amount - it has been suggested that a standard formula should be 1% of unique vistors. I have checked the site for errors, put through test orders and it is working fine. Any suggestions/comments/musings welcome Thanks Mike

shooter-boy
Yes, your ordering/add to cart system seems a little confusing. The mailing list entry / images are on every page, which i would suggest is too much. There is no focus on products, and even though i knew full well i was looking at an online store, it didn't feel like it to me. Don't get me wrong, I like the design... but you need to make it plain as day and easy as tying velcro shoes. I would be happy to offer some more thoughts/advice through PM or email if you would prefer. BTW., i have heard figures far better than 1%.
