You should have a line in your (catalog)/includes/column_left.php that reads like this:

include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'categories.php');

If you don't, or if there are 2 slashes before it, then it won't show.

I should check catalog/admin/includes too?

Thanks

No ... admin/includes is something different. I believe your concern is what the customer/end-user sees, correct?

Beside doing the correction in catalog/includes/column_left

I checked catalog/includes/boxes/categories...I did copy and paste from my backup files and Vualá!, the categories box started working again. :-"

Thanks
