Hi,

 

I've searched extensively around the forums and contributions but can't seem to find what I need and I can't believe that this isn't a more common request or hasn't been developed before.

 

I'm trying to find a function that will allow me to perform the following checkout procedure:

 

1: Customer chooses product/s from catalogue

2: Customer checks out

3: During the checkout process, the customer gets to choose which distributor (or warehouse) the product/s are shipped from.

4: Order finished

 

Seems simple but I can't find anything that does this.

 

I've looked at the Multi Vendor Shipping and it comes really close but you can only have 1 vendor per product and that makes the catalogue look strange as there would the same product being sold 25 times with the only difference being the 'vendor'

 

Originally, I used attributes to display the distributor options but my client wasn't happy with that as a user could choose more than one distributor per order.

 

Does anyone know of a contribution that could do this?

I have this same problem and it's been bought up before. Currently there is no publically available contrib that provides this function.

Do you know if there is anyone working on a solution or is there a commercially available answer?

 

perhaps we could share some development costs if there's someone out there who could develop it?
