viceroybooks
The Product Weight is in Kilograms, so unfortunately, 4 OZ wold have to be entered as 0.1134. You only need to enter a Product Weight if you are going to use it for something like automatic Postage Cost calculation based on weight.

viceroybooks
Sorry, my mistake. I used the Zone Based Shipping Module, which does come standard set to pounds, I forgot that I had changed it to Kilograms on my site.
XxWickedxX
Well I am setting up shipping based off each products weight just as you said. I able always able to round product weight off to the nearest pound so that my weights are always a whole number. As long as my table rate module (modified) is set up to accomidate this then the store looks at me entering whole numbers as just a unit or my case equal to whole number pounds. So this way products cost x amount of dollars for shipping per pound or per whole number 1, 2, 3 etc etc. This was my way of doing away with kilograms. This is easier for me since my products wieght are always rounded up to the nearest pound. So if I set a base price of 2.50 and for every 1 pound or unit increment another 2.50 is charged so that an item weighing 2 pounds or units cost 5 dollars in shipping. I have just recently edited the table.php to accomidate this but I keep encountering one problem. I edited the table.php file to be [baseprice]:[increment change][cost for increment change] or 2.50:1.00:2.50 the equation seems to work perfectly with increments but for some reason I always have a base price of 20 dollars that I can not figure out how to get rid of. In my equation if my change [baseprice] which is 2.50 to a value of "0" then my base price for the shipping goes from 22.50 down to 20 dollars when it should technically now be zero.. I cant figure out where this 20 dollars is coming from. I edited a portion of table.php from looking like this $table_cost = split("[:,]" , MODULE_SHIPPING_TABLE_COST); $size = sizeof($table_cost); for ($i=0, $n=$size; $i<$n; $i+=2) { if ($order_total <= $table_cost[$i]) { $shipping = $table_cost[$i+1]; break; } } and replaced that with this.. $table_cost = split(":" , MODULE_SHIPPING_TABLE_COST); $shipping = 0; $baseSO = $table_cost[0]; $incrSO = $table_cost[1]; $costincSO = $table_cost[2]; $shipping = $baseSO + ($order_total * ($costincSO / $incrSO)- ($costincSO / $incrSO)); This would accomplish this which this all is a contribution I found. E.g.Base cost for first kg = $5.00, Weight increment = 1kg (normally easier to work it out per kg, but the formula calculates it down via a divide to a cost per 1 unit) Cost per increment = $1.5 Enter the values in table as [baseprice]:[weightincrement]:[costforincrement] e.g 5.00:1.00:1.50 With that last example that means something weight 1 unit as we will refer to it here would cost 5 dollars in shipping. If I add another item that weighs one unit as well then the shipping price would increase another 1.50 to make 6.50 as the shipping total.. But again I have this mystery 20 dollars that keeps being thrown in there and I dont know why.
