HDGear
I saw how to do it a while back, and now I can't find it. When I click on a product, it shows a small picture of the product, then a huge picture of the manufacturer's image. How do I remove the enlarged Manufacturer's image. Or at least keep it from being magnified. Thank you.
jpweber
Admin tool --- www.yoursite.com/admin, or whatever. Click Catalog. Click Manufacturers. Delete their images individually. Or, alternatively, if you prefer, open the images in Photoshop or whatever, and reduce them to fit your column width (which is set at default 125 pixels unless you changed it in (catalog)/includes/application_top.php). Good luck. HDGear
The problem with just deleting the images is that you get a broken image link in it's place. That is what I am trying to get rid of. I replaced all of my manufacturer's images with a blank white gif, which solved the broken link problem, but now I have the enlarged picture problem. HDGear
Jason, Thank you for all your help. One more question, How do I delete the manufacturer's picture without deleting the manufacturer. I see where to upload pictures, and where to delete manufacturers, but not where to erase the picture I have stored for them.
jpweber
Personally, I would go into my phpadmin. This means: 1) Log on to your host's control panel. 2) Find the database section. Click it. 3) Find the SQL section, or find out where your database admin section is. 4) Click phpmyadmin, if they have it, or whatever database admin section you have. 5) Find your database table, "manufacturers". Click it. 6) Click "browse" to find the manufacturer's image values. 7) Find the image you wanna edit and edit it. Take it out. Good luck.
