lambodoorkitscouk
Thanks for that I have restored to a previous date, but now get a message on the home page which says Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/lamb7579/public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Anyone now how to sort this out. I have given up on the SEO installation as I have no idea what I am doing. Jack_mcs
The first problem you had was that you didn't upload the files that came with the contribution. You have to make code changes as well as upload new files to install it. The second problem is that your permissions settings are wrong on the includes/configure.php file. You can set those in your hosts control panel or with an ftp program. They should be set to 644, 444, or 400, depending on your hosts setup (the lower the better). lambodoorkitscouk
Thanks for the reply, I uploaded the code changes that the contribution told me to do so. When I got to step 7 I was confused as to what I needed to do. I am a complete novice to this so learning as I go along.
Jack_mcs
I don't recall the steps by number so I could only guess at the step you got hung up on. If you ask specific questions, someone should be able to help you though.
