Catalog Prices Come Up Blank

Hello All,

I set up the products and then I entered the prices with the attributes. Everything was fine until I saw that the currency was incorrect. I changed the currency and and then all the prices went to 0.

I changed the currency back and all that would work was the price and not the attributes.

I deleted all the products and attributes. I changed the currency and then added a category, a product an attribute and everything was still 0.

Any solution to this problem or has anyone else experienced this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Peace

Phil

Did you created a new default currency?

In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ?

and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36

// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

Change it to whatever you need

Same here. Changed english.php to GBP, currency value is set to 1.00000000. Prices still showing as 0 without currency sign unless I add one more currency.

Make sure that when you added UK Pounds as a currency in osCommerce admin that you also gave it the code of GBP there.

If that does not work then set Switch To Default Language Currency to 'true' under Configuration --> My Store

Hi, Vger,

follows your steps I got prices back but without a dollar sign, neither USD nor AUS. Do you know why.

Thanks in advance,

Admin >> Localization >> click on one of your currencies >> Edit

In the "Symbol Left or "Symbol Right", enter your symbol. Or you can put "USD" or "AUD" on the right or left.

Update

Here is a list of symbols for currencies and 3-letter abbreviations worldwide: http://www.xe.com/symbols.htm

I, too, have this problem and have tried everything excep unistall!:

This is the post-install sequence:

1. Added dummy categories and product

This worked OK but in $

2. Deleted Euros, Added Sterling (GBP) and made it default, Deletet Dollars

3. Product was then missing!

4 Re-added product but came up as £0.00 (should have been £1.40)

Followed general ideas above and got just '0'

5 Went back to currency and clicked 'make default' - then I got £0.00!

BUT

6 Went and edited my (one and only) product and saw that value was set to 0 - it had not been added to the database. Edited this product with my 1.4 and it worked!

Added second test product and this seems OK too.

Did you follow Vger's advice above?
