Guest
Many problems can be solved with a little reading... ...a lttle experimentation...and a bit of patience. and if you're like me and ain't never been to no school, and ain't got no good education.... some determination ...as they say in the linux forums... R-T-F-M...above all!
Nancy
Where can I get a copy of T-F-M? Is there an osC 4 Dummies on Amazon? Are you refering to T-F PHP M? Do I need to R-T-F Visual Basic M before I ask a question about Winblows? There is currently no documentation available for the current stable release. From the download page.-nan

Nancy
Thank you very much! This is by far, the most helpful response to any of my questions to date. :D I was not aware of this resource, but will make good use of it. I would suspect that it will help a few others that wander into this thread. Thanks Again! -nan
Paul_C
hmm... as much as I hate them, I'd have to say that a Wiki would be really useful for documenting oscommerce. The folk over at osdox put together a real nice help file there, but it just doesn't seem like documentation can keep up without more community involvement. phpWiki anyone? Guest
Sorry... It was a loose refernce to the reply one may get if you ask a question in some linux forums thatthat the answer to could be found in documentation. RTFM = Read The F!@#%$# Manual The manual at osdox is very useful to me...but is not exactly clear on some points, and is not very inclusive. a collection of "How Tos" would be useful wuold be useful

Not to be a wisea$$ myself, RTFM as an expression that pre-dates the linux, hell, even pre-dates the web, having it's origins in usenet groups. http://info.astrian.net/jargon/terms/r/RTFM.html Steven
