The person who set up my website didn't finish it and I'm having a problem correcting his misspelled words, but I keep getting the error message below when I go into the File Manager. I can't correct anything and as soon as this person recieved all the $$ owed for building it, he cut off all communication, so I hope I can get some good advise here.

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on

It is saying that whatever file you are trying to edit is not allowed to be edited. You would need to change the permissions on it before you can edit it. This shouldn't occur, except maybe for the configure files. Also, if your shop does not have the latest updates from oscommerce, the file manager will cause extra characters to be written in your files and should not be used, in that case.

Thanks Jack, I also have no idea how to manage the site, am I up a creek now or is there someone out there that I can talk to to fix things?

Thanks again
