Turning off Review

I can understand how to delete product reviews. However, if I desire to turn off reviews so that reviews are not allowed, how do I do that?

catalog/includes/column_right.php

 

find and delte or comment out

 

require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'reviews.php');

 

Should do it for you.

 

Select all and copy to blank note pad first. That way you have something to go back to if you make a mistake.

This worked fine, removing the box in the right sidebar, but how do I remove the ability to write or read reviews? In other words, removed the review function competely?
