And I believe that this is not the first time I am facing this problem,...there may be many of my co coders who must have faced and solved the problem already.... There are possibilities, one being of course .htaccess file or another is a contribution like this one : http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4121 which is easy to use and works. chrisjat Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 If you have cPanel through your host, when you login to there, there is an icon labled Password Protect Directories. Use this to password protect the admin folder. You need to select and apply password protect to the directory, then add a user/pass so that you can login (all in the same screen of Password Protect Directories) If you have it, once you go in there, it's pretty simple.
