How do I add download links to a customer record

I have had some instances where digital files were paid for with echecks from paypal. The status of the order was pending until the paypal issues a message saying it is cleared.

 

In several instances, after the echeck cleared, it did not clear the pending staus of the order to processing.

 

Hence, no download link ever appeared for the customer to download.

 

How do I manually add a link for the file the customer ordered to his/her record so it can be downloaded.

 

Is that a simple enough question for you guys? :blush: :-)
