tridean
Hi All, I've installed Ultimate SEO URL's without a hassle - thankyou Chemo I was wondering though is it possible to remove the -c-xx from the URL at all? I also see the following error message in my Configuration > SEO URL's at the top Warning: call_user_func(tep_reset_cache_data_seo_urls) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home/tridean/public_html/oscommerce/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 1199 whether it's going to do anything or not don't know but it's there Cheers Dean
♥Vger
In Configuration --> Ultimate SEO URL's just choose not to display the cPath. Your other problem - you need to create a folder called 'cache' with permissions of 755. Vger

Even with it turned off, so as not to display cpath, it still comes out like this example dolphin-figurines-c-xx.html With the 'cache' folder, do I cretae that in the same directory as the general.php oscommerce/admin/includes/functions/ thanks Dean
♥Vger
You've still not set it right - this is something like what you should be seeing: http://www.yourdomain.com/under-siege-p-9.html You create a directory called 'cache' in the root of your osCommerce shop. tridean
Hi Vger, I'm a bit confused - that's what I'm trying to get rid of, the '-p-9' p obviously stands for product and c for category. Can I not change it so that in your example it would only show http://www.yourdomain.com/under-siege.html instead of http://www.yourdomain.com/under-siege-p-9.html Also thanks for the folder info Dean

Vger Hi Vger, I'm sorry but I may not be understanding you properly. I added a folder called 'cache' under the oscommerce folder oscommerce/cache but it still didn't get rid of the error message. I'm sorry but sometimes I need a little more thorough instructions
♥Vger
It sounds as if you have not installed the contribution properly. Go through it again and make sure you follow all of the install instructions correctly. I suspect you have made a mistake in adding the code to the admin/includes/functions/general.php file. You cannot remove the -p- because that is part of the rewriting applied by Ultimate SEO URL's. Vger
