Guest
I am very new to osCommerce tool. I am trying to set up my online store with dedicated SSL certificate. So far I have done following things for SSL. -- Ordered dedicated SSL -- My hosting company has installed SSL for me. When I try to go to administrator page I see the following message on left-bottom column. "You are not protected by a secure SSL connection". I do see locked icon on browser status bar. My configuration.php files are updated according to given instructions by forum. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, Tarun
Jack_mcs
If you can go to https://yoursite.com and have it work, then the certificate is installed correctly and the problem is most likely due to the configure file setup. You would need to post that here (without sensitive data) so someone can look it over. Jack Jack, I ended up finding your guide on SSL certificate under 'Tips and Tricks' and was able to resolve the issue. Thanks for such a nice article on SSL. You saved my time a lot. I run into second problem. I am not able to install paypal module from the admin panel. I received some warning messages. I have posted this problem under 'Payment Module' section. I appreciate for your help. Thanks, Tarun
