nibl69 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Is it? I thought the default module with OSC was designed for Website Payments Standard. Yet, the PayPal website claims that osCommerce is already configured to run Website Payments Pro, which is like having your own merchant account that allows you to process payments directly on our website. So before I sign up for this, what is required to get it to work with OSC? Do I need to install the Website Payments Pro module available in the contributions section, or is it already configured like the PayPal site says it is? Quote
Jack_mcs Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 You have to install the contribution to use that option. dynamoeffects Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 And before it's asked, I would advise against installing the "official" version that's no longer being developed. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3647 0.8.2 appears to be stable for live use. kyao888 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I have signed up Paypal Pro and I would like to know how to implement that into OSCommerce so users do not need to leave our web site to perform the payment. I hate the fact that users has to leave our site and go to Paypal. I only want to offer credit card payments. Any ideas? Thanks. Quote

If you signed up for a Website Payments Pro account with PayPal, you have to install this contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3647 The Direct Payments option allows you to accept credit cards on your site via a form instead of the customers having to leave your site to go to PayPal.
