SQL file does not exist

HELP !!

 

I'm trying to install the OSC 2.2 and I just get the

 

SQL file does not exist: /public_html/catalog/install/oscommerce.sql

 

message on the Step 1: Import Database.

 

Everithing seems to be Ok.

What can I do ?

Thank you for your answer but when I cut and paste the path in the address bar, the browser shows me the .sql file, so is not a path problem.

 

What else can I do ?

Change the permissioning on the install folder and also the .sql file.

I changed the permissions of the catalog folder, the install folder and the sql file but still doesn't work.

I put 777 on them.

What is your database server information? Database name username and password?

Database Server: sorpresa_dbsorpresa (or localHost ?)

 

Username: **************

 

Password: ******

 

Database: sorpresa_dbcatalog

Posting your username and password to a public forum is not a good idea.

While most of us are nice people, you can't be sure who's just popping in.

 

I think a password change is definitely in order.

Its up and running. What you need to do next is double check the admin configure.php page and enter the information regarding database configureation. After that i would chnage you usernames and passwords because everyone can see it now and that would be bad. :oops:

The wizard part of it is done. There is nothing left ofr you to do execpt delete these items and add your own. i tried to find the admin section but dont know where you put it.
