hi, no i didnt but it doesnt have a CATALOG_IMAGES line to configure

it has this

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

this changes every image path, i only want to have my products and section images in their own folder when uploaded through admin.

still stuck...

Driftwood (or anyone else)

I'm looking to use images from a different location. I have looked at the /includes/configure.php file and found the line Driftwood mentioned.

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

I tried changing the line during the initial set up but it all went wrong and we completely messed up and had to reinstall oscommerce.

Before I try this again, what do I need to show in the bold line above?

Let's say for example our images are at: http://www.myotherwebsite.com/images - how do I replace the code line in bold correctly to show the images on our site used from the other site?

Thank you

Steve

Hi All,

OK, I'm a newbie, I admit it!

I'm trying to add a folder inside the images folder for the same type of image organization. Trying to create a logos folder for all of my brand names. Also trying to create subfolders to store product picts(jpg) things like Stoves, Tools, Patio Furniture. I'm having permissions problems and the same problem as listed above. I'm going to need this since I'm going to be carrying over 1000+ items!

Is there a way to solve some of this problem using php admin?

Hope there is a solution out there somewhere!
