JavaScript Error

I'm running oscommerce 2.1 on winNT, using win Exp 4.0 and getting the following java script error.

 

document.payment.payment.length is not an object

 

It is generated on the Payment Method screen.

 

It comes from checkout_payment.php

 

I have made no mods.

 

any ideas?

Hi

 

There is a file called Catalog/Includes/form_check.js.php that checks the outputs from these files. But, seeing as you have not modified anything, then Im not sure why your getting that error. Are you sure you have uploaded all the files to your server ?

I am using OS v2.2 and its working fine .Have you done much work with it yet ? Maybe you can get 2.2 and install it ? It comes with its own instaler and everything.

Actually, on reading your mail again, I see your using IE4 ?? Upgrade to IE5.5 , it has a lot more java support and is less buggy. This is more than likely the root cause of your problem . You can get IE5.5 upgrade from the microsoft website.

thanks for that, I'll try installing ie5.5.

 

I'll try installing OSC2.2 if that doesn't work.
