header tag controller/ultimate seo

I have ultimate seo mod on my site and want to add header tag controller. However in the modification of HTC I came accross this prob in my index.php.

I am to replace this:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>">

<title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title>

with this:

<?php

// BOF: Header Tag Controller v2.6.0

if ( file_exists(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header_tags.php') ) {

require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header_tags.php');

} else {

?>

<title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title>

<?php

}

// EOF: Header Tag Controller v2.6.0

?>

But I HAVE this:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>">

<?php if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'])) { ?>

<title><?php echo $manufacturers_name['manufacturers_name']; ?></title>

<meta name="description" content="<?php echo $manufacturers_name['manufacturers_name']; ?>">

<meta name="keywords" content="<?php echo $manufacturers_name['manufacturers_name']; ?>">

<?php

}

if ((basename($PHP_SELF) == FILENAME_DEFAULT) and (!isset($_GET['cPath']))) {

if ((basename($PHP_SELF) == FILENAME_DEFAULT) and (!isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id']))) {

?>

<title><?php echo INDEX_META_TITLE; ?></title>

<meta name="description" content="<?php echo INDEX_META_DESCRIPTION; ?>">

<meta name="keywords" content="<?php echo INDEX_META_KEYWORDS; ?>">

<?php

}

}

if (isset($_GET['cPath'])) {

?>

<title><?php echo $category_name['categories_name']; ?></title>

<meta name="description" content="<?php echo $category_name['categories_name']; ?>">

<meta name="keywords" content="<?php echo $category_name['categories_name']; ?>">

Can anyone tell me if I can use the header tag controller with the ultimate seo. If so how do I incorporate the two? I've tried and get a parse error every time.

That's not Ultimate SEO code, at least none that I am aware of for the head section. To use Header Tags, any code to do with your title has to be replaced, which would mean all of that. Watch the formatting though since the php delimiters may already be in place.
