Backup and Copy OSC 2.2 problems

Boris

Recommended Posts

I made a running shop on www.viroff.com/catalog

Now I wanna move this shop to a different server/domain.

Back upped database and copied to new domain. OK.

Backupped directories admin and catalog. Only directory images gives a lot of problems; no permissions. Even chmod 777 by FTP isn't working.

The rest copied well, but now I have this problem and can't find the errors:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /www/htdocs/hollan/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 249

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/hollan/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 249

Somebody any idea, or is it a stupid newbie action and not so simple to copy OSC 2.2?

Of course Linda,

The first thing I did was to change my configure.php files both in admin en catalog with right server, database and password. So logging in is no problem. But what else in .php I have to change to get in my database?

Technically, if in v2.2 and your configure.php files are correct that should be about it.

When I move shops around I just reset the domain name, the main directory and the database name, username and password.

Thnx Linda,

This is also my opinion. In your case it is working. So or something went wrong with downloading/uploading files. Or still are some errors in my configure files.

Anyhow what means exactly this error message:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /www/htdocs/hollan/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 249

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/hollan/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 249

It must be a wrong path to the language files?

Boris.
