PSiGate XML rocks my orders, but leaves customer cold.

If anyone else who's had success with PSiGate could help, I'd appreciate it.

site: multibeatrecords.com

I'm using the PSiGate XML module.

Orders paid for by Visa/Mastercard will report that the credit card is invalid. In fact, the order goes through just fine, and fully logged, with confirmation emails being sent to both customer and store owner.

However, the unsuccessful order and the error report would lead anyone to believe that the transaction is incomplete.

When a customer attempts to pay with Visa/Mastercard, it reports "- Your card has been declined. Please re-enter in your card information, try another card, or contact the store owner for assistance."

this message is defined thusly in: languages/modules/payment/psigate_xml.php

define('MODULE_PAYMENT_PSIGATE_XML_TEXT_DECLINED_MESSAGE', 'Your card has been declined. Please re-enter in your card information, try another card, or contact the store owner for assistance.');

Also, the psigate_xml table in the database:

- a new row is created with the auto-inc ID in place

- customer_id is set to 0.

- no other info is filled in.

As the full build of information reaches PSiGate fully intact, i would suspect there is something wrong with my psigate_xml db table. (The .sql file was simply an SQL command, which I copied and pasted and ran from phpmyadmin - it seems to have delivered a proper table.)

- why is nothing being written to the DB? (Enable Database Storage is set to ON.)

- why is the customer being told that their card is invalid?

- are these two things related?

I've tried to find Jason LeBaron who wrote the thing, to no avail.

Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated. At the moment, credit cards can be accepted, are accepted, but the transactions appear to be unsuccessful to my customers.

Thanks,

Multibeat
