Just when I thought I cracked this I've hit a big problem. I've installed the paypal IPN contribution and here are the fields I've filled in:

The problem I'm getting is that everything runs very smoothly until the final payment at Paypal when I get the following error

 

Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again.

Security Measure: Please type the characters you see into the field.

 

Now I'm definitely entering the correct characters so it must be something else.

 

I've managed to find some pretty vague explanations for this but nothing that makes much sense.

 

Can anyone help.

Wow

I'm still going through various posts but it looks like I'm way off the mark at the minute! There seems to be a grey area. Do I need an SSL certificate or not for just Paypal IPN? If I don't need one then I won't bother, but then how do I go about setting up my site to work without the SSL?

Hi, here is what I have my paypal IPN set to I dont know if it will help but mine kinda works ok, I am just not getting the emails sent I dont know y but when I do test it seems to work fine on diff pay methods I just need to do some more testing to try and pin point why I am not getting the email

I only get one option of Florida

Hi All

I'm getting somewhere so I'll share it just incase anyone else gets this problem.

I've forwarded the URL to this particular site from one ISP to the ISP hosting my oscommerce site using frames and apparently this is a no no!
