Basic Image add

Recommended Posts

Alright, I am having an issue adding an image to my product detail. I go to insert...

<img src="www.yourdomain.com/location of your image.gif">

and I add in what i believe is the right spot for my image folder, but I am left with just an image box error when I update that product listing.

Can someone elaborate on "www.yourdomain/location of your image.gif."?? can I use bmp, or jpeg?

the link where I found this was http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4612

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

What are you trying to achieve?

This will put the same image in every product page?

there are a lot of contribs that allow multi images...

but is this what you want ...check that you have uploaded the image to the folder

and make sure that you have the correct path yoursite/images/123.gif ..this code sode work

note:

if this is a relative image ie in your website then you dont need the www. if the image is outside your site ie a banner you needed the ****(dont want to make this alink)***http://www.yoursite.com/image/123.gif****(add stars) should work and jpg not sure about bmp.

cheers

Rusty
