porpoise1954 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Hi Guys, I've searched and hunted through all the files and I can't find the code to change the period for which products are listed as "new". i.e. I want to change the period so that only products added within the last 30 days are listed as "New Products". Can anyone shed any light please? Cheers, Steve * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Porpoises are most happy when wet! \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _

There may be a contribution for this because this option would be of benefit. Short of deleting the product and reloading it, have you considered going into the products database table and adjusting your dates (p.products_date_added field)? jon It's all just ones and zeros....

I've done all that but I still get ALL the products listed in "products_new.php" (as opposed to the infoBox "What's new for the month of") It makes no difference even if the product added date is changed to several years ago - it still gets listed as a new product in "products_new.php". That's why I can't figure it out. There seems to be no configuration for it anywhere that I can see. jonquil Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I guess there's another table field (maybe "update") that pushes the product in a "new" state. Beyond that, I'm of no further use to you. Sorry I couldn't help :( jon It's all just ones and zeros....
