detailed walk through for paypal ipn?

ok the help page that came with this and even trying to read the threads on this all seem to be over my head or in not enough detail, is there a walk through that explains things for those more simple minded/unexperienced with these things? even the paypal/sandbox sites seem to just confuse me more when it comes to setting this up properly...

i cant set it up as i dont know what all the things needed for the text boxes are to even attempt to fill them in properly

- Click on Edit

- Set Eanble to True

- Set Email address to your paypal address

- Set to Live

- Click Update

 

That's all you need do.

Im having problems too. I installed the PayPal IPN module for 2.2 v1.3 (4) and its asking for the location and filename of my private key and location and filename of my public certificate. I have my own SSL installed on a shared server so it seems to me all the necessary info is already in my configuration files. I also set the Enable Encrypted Web Payments to false since Im not using open ssl.
