Payment Modules in Admin

In Admin, when I go to payment modules, I have the columns "Modules", "Sort Order", and "Action". The problem is nothing shows to the right of the action column (blue arrow) when a module is selected. Kind of strange. Shipping and Order Total Module pages show everything correctly. Tried to paste a screen shot, but could not figure out how.

Basically, in the payment modules in admin, I can not install or remove any payment modules due that column being missing. Another interesting note is that the footer is missing as well, but only for payment modules. Shipping and order totals are okay.

Any ideas??? Maybe a file other than modules.php that was modified that would only affect the display for payment modules?

Wow, not even one comment :(

Well, does anyone know if I change files that were modded with contribs back to the original files, will I lose any database info like product info, customers info, order history, etc.?

Well, I finally got it. It was a lame mistake, but I am recording it here in case anyone else ever does something like this...

In an earlier contribution that had me modify paypal.php in the includes/modules/payment directory, I had made a copy of the original file paypal.php and renamed it. Well I left that additonal paypal file in the includes/modules/payment directory on the server. Obviously the two paypal files clashed and caused me a lot of headache.

I am now going to go bask in my ignorance. Happy New Year!
