tomliuwhite Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 a.com/os is a live site and running well. There is one cusomter wants the similar os site as a.com/os. So i set up the clean oscommerce site (b.com/os) first using cpanel-> fantastico. And then I copied a.com/os (both php files and database) to b.com/os. Now I am trying to change the admin side's username/password for b.com/os using cpanel-> password protect directories, but somehow i could not. I think I may overwirte/mess up the .htaccess files on b.com/os. How could i fix this problem? Any suggestion about this?
dittones Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 tomliu, You can add many username and passwords to .htaccess...Contact you host provider they will walk you thru the process... also the is a contribution to allows you to have a admin login in screen...just do a scan on the admin login in the contri area. I hope this helps dittone.com Roman
