Anyone have any advice. Sure would apreciate it

Hi

There is a problem in the contrib, that make the module fail when the STORE NAME contains a comma, space or anything strange.

Surely that is the problem, try modyfing your store name and try again

It will be fixed in the next release

Best regards

Thanx for your suggestion.

I guess you mean changing the sorename in the admin. Wel i changed that name to only text without any spaces comma's or so but it still won't take the amount from the shop to paypal.

Any more suggestions?

Hi Bert

I tried your site, and saw that the basic paypal module that cames with the osCommerce package is also failing in your site.

It seems like a problem in your configuration, not in the contrib.

You should first make the standard paypal module work, and then try making work the IPN

So which PayPal module is the one that appears on your site?

For what I have seen, at least it is NOT the PayPal IPN module, becouse the action on the checkout page points directly to http://www.paypal.com..... instead of point to checkout_paypalipn.php

For all i know i used the IPN mod but if you say i dont i believe you.

So i checked all the alterations i had to make for the mod and i think i did everything OK?

So any more suggestions?

I realy hope you can still help me.

PayPal IPN appears on your Payment Modules list?

You can see that list in your admin->Modules->Payment

You should see a PayPal module and a PayPal IPN module.

Which one of those are setted to on? (with the red light)

And what happened with the standard module?

Before you installed PayPal IPN, the Standard PayPal module was there?

I have no idea, i absolutely am not aware of it ever being there. But since you say it had to be there i must have thrown it away!

Is there a way to put it back?

Surely it is still there, but something is setted wrong, and that is why you can see it.

Is there any address in which I can see your shop?
