NOT GETTING EMAILS!

This is a re-post. I received no help the first time.

 

My oscommerce for thelollipopshop.net isn't sending me any emails to let me know what was purchased. I'm getting payment receipts from the credit card processor, but no email from oscommerce telling me what was purchased. I know that I have the email address correct in the "send extra order detais to" field. It was working and now it doesn't.

1- How do I fix this?

2- Is there any way for me to see a purchase history so I can fill the current orders?

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Go to your shop admin panel and click on configuration and look for

 

Send Extra Order Emails To

 

And click on it and enter your email address and that should email u the orders from your website

I already have that field filled with the corredt email address and still no email.

I like your site by the way, seems like a fun shop!

 

As far as checking on the orders, you can check them under customers > orders

 

And are you not receiving emails from the site at all? or is it just the orders? Try sending yourself an email from the contact_us.php on your catalog. See if you get it, if you do, try to do a test checkout not using pay pal. It could be a pay pal issue.

It appears to just be the orders. The others are fine. Also we are using a 3rd party credit card processor and not paypal. The payment goes through fine, and a receipt is sent, but the email that is supposed to be generated by oscommerce that goes to the store owner doesn't happen.

 

I like your site by the way, seems like a fun shop!

The messages might be getting blocked by your spam filter. If you are able to send emails through the contact_us.php page, you should also be able to send the "extra order emails".

 

Correct me if im wrong, but they use the same php function.

 

This is probably a configuration error (misTyped email), or your spam filter.
