Backup Directory Not Writeable

I keep getting the following error message :

 

Error Error: Backup directory is not writeable.

 

I have not changed any permissions that I can remember ?

 

Can anyone help ?

You need to CHMOD the directory. Personally I use CuteFTP. If permissions are correct, then check with your host service and make sure that there isn't a problem there.
