testing paypal sandbox

I set up a fake sandbox merchant account and have that email id in OS Commerce. I also set up a fake buyer accounts in the sandbox. Everything works fine until I get to paypal and I cannot log in with the fake buyer account. What do I do? I searched the forum but could not find anything on this topic.

Before you log into your osCommerce store under your fake user to do a test purchase. Make sure you login to your Paypal Sandbox and activate it first. I do this in a seperate explorer window first. Then I open up my store, login using my sandbox user and make a purchase. Of course, as you mentioned, make sure that your Paypal module is set in test mode. NOT LIVE. :thumbsup:

What I did was install the ipn module and it worked fine. Logging into the sandbox tripped me up the first time and then it was fine after that by logging in.. One thing that is happening it is sending two emails instead of one to the buyer from the store owner.

You are welcome! I get 2 emails also. One is for the sandbox user and 1 is for you the store owner. B)
