The payment went thru and I got the customer email confirmation. However, I can't find the order in oscommerce ... I have not yet received an email that an order has been placed or that an order went thru. I made the purchase yesterday around 4:00pm. How much time does it usually take ? Is there something in the setting I should check ? I tested another order with check payment option and the order is pending waiting for the check and the order is in the system.

With this option, customers get redirected automatically to your site after the payment, instead of first clicking "continue" and then returning. No more payments without order confirmations! Log in at your Paypal account and go to: "Profile (under My Account)", then choose "Website Payment Preferences". Set "auto return" to ON, and use the following Return URL: http://yourdomain/catalog/checkout_process.php I found this is in oscommerce contributions, in there is a contrib that explains this problem. It is called "PayPal - Solution to Customer Not Returning to Site". There is nothing to upload only a read message. Read it and it will explain the details of what you need to do at Paypal and comments on your site. I did this and it works! I put comments in that they will sent back to my site for completion of their order after paypal.
