konan78 Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Hello Here is my website. veleblagovnica.com Thanks for the feedback
rommany Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Yes it does look professional, so why would you add that silly santa and envelopes, if you what people to take you serious remove them, after 10 seconds they got on my nerves, i need to scroll to the right so i would fix that, get yourself a SSL, i cant read the text so i cant comment on that but i do like your images and overall style. Well Done
konan78 Posted December 10, 2006 Author Posted December 10, 2006 Thanks for your input. But i think that in this time of year it is nice to have some christmas spirit on your website... What do you think guys?? Rok from Slovenia. PS: If you are intersted in this template let me know...
♥bruyndoncx Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I personally don't like the color scheme mixing the red christmas banner, pink gift box and red santa with the blue/grey/orange of the rest of the site. I'd loose the 'this product was added on' ... on the product page. I'm not convinced on the image popup in the listing, it is fast, but the wiggling if you move your cursor I don't like. The product listing has a bit too many horizontal lines to my liking Lastly I'd make it a little smaller, the home page is very busy. Overall it looks like decent template, but you have to be carefull when you add graphics yourself to stay in the same style, your logo and santa look a bit skinny compared to the boldness of the overall template. KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
Guest Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I would suggest a new header logo. While the layout is fine, the logo just does not jump out and grab. Pink and orange.... faux pas. A few quick edits could bring the color scheme back into a flow. A deeper red may work better instead of the orange. It would also dance better with the greyish header bars then. I hate to be rude, but the snowflakes are BAD. *tisk tisk* Santa... I like X-mas spirit... but I think the Santa you are using is a little... graphically wrong for the flow. I'm not saying loose the X-mas spirit, mearly finding a Santa that tip toes on the top a little more gracefully (metaphorically not literally). I can't put my finger on it exactly, but my guess is going to be it's cell shading... One more thing, please tell me you are not banner advertising another companies products on your own page? It's all good if it's something you do not sell or complements what you are selling... but when you have another companies Dell advertisement at the bottom of the page when you sell Dell yourself... Other than that, I like your layout.
boxtel Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Hello Here is my website. veleblagovnica.com Thanks for the feedback very nice but: it is still too wide for my screen (check your left column images). in IE your snow looks like envelopes which raises questions I am sure. The big top image is too big, 1 giftbox is enough and loose the reddish background too. I would drastically reduce the number of products you list as it now looks like a spreadsheet. besides, you list several very similar items there, suggest you display a cross-section of all the different product types you have. I think 1 currency indicator is sufficient (euro's left and right). I like the phrase "kupi", maybe will use that myself. on your product pages you have 12x12 cm of product info and the rest is all empty. Please tell me it is because of the snow in the shopping cart your button style suddenly changes. you have a slight layout problem with your "recently viewed" implementation ofcourse the infamous cart quantity bug where we can order : 6666666666666666666666666666666666666 at a nice discount so a very good basis with some small details that need attention.
