graphicore Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I am a newbie at this. How can I import an existing database into the product fields on OSCommerce????? (Note: I do not now MySQL... So if you can explain step by step I would really appreciate).
dittones Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Erick, Install the easypopulate contribution...This will allow you to upload and download csv files which you can import to an excell spread sheet... Download your database using easypopulate this will show you the format that is required and show you your database contants... I hope this helps dittone.com Roman

I'll give it a try and let you know but, can you give me a link to the easypopulate that you recommend for this task???? I look on the contribution pages and saw too many variants... for Php etc. I also looked at Excel Import 1.51... is this the one you're refering to?

After installing the latest version I have found that easypopulate doesn't export/import the fields filename, expiry days and maximum download count under product attributes. Is there a quick way to add this fields to be exported/imported into the code????? I tryed to search and read under the support threat but 200+ pages is way too much for me to read. I'll appreciate any kind of help.
