pezholio Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Here's a site that I've done for a client, my first time using oSCommerce, and my first paid job! http://www.subtleaudiorecordings.com/shop/ It's been live for a couple of months now, but I'd love some feedback all the same! :)
Andrew Yuen Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Well in my opinion the site is pretty stock osc. I suggest shrinking the bar right above the copyright and below the logo so that it does not repeat twice. Also I would remove the product count and -> arrow in the categories infobox. In addition your buttons do not match the gray color scheme of your site. Finally consider getting SSL and posting shipping info, conditions of use and privacy policy Andrew Yuen osCommerce, Community Team
pezholio Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 Ah, thanks for the heads up on the bar. It looks fine in Firefox, I really need to get into the habit of checking in IE! (although, really, IE should be standards complaint, but that's another discussion altogether!) Thanks for the feedback! :)
ozhound Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 IE is the standard you should adhere to and then make the site compatible with other browsers. Not because IE is the best browser, but because it is used by over 70% of internet users. Cater to the majority, especially in ecommerce. PS, site looks ok, although a description of the music would be benifitial
