Paypal help

I was always dreading this part.

I'm having real trouble understanding how the payment part of my store works. I've installed th paypal IPN module but when following through an order and getting to the paypal bit here:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr

 

the price is set to zero. This must be easy but I can't figure it out.

 

I'd really appreciate some help from someone. It feels like I've just tripped at the last hurdle.
