Guest Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I'm having errors with the international shipping charges....my US customers are getting charged the correct amount, but my int'l customers are getting over-charged, and like the poster above....everything has worked fine for years and now this....do you think it's a USPS thing?
Chris.A Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Hmmm, I'm working in installing the USPS module . . . obtained and ID, entered it and set to "Test" mode . . . I received the same message. Did you get an answer on this. Seems like it's on the USPS side.

I have the same problem with the default USPS module. - I have osCommerce 2.2-MS2 installed - registered a USPS WebTools UserID - had the ID moved to production - UserID is filled - Password is blank - set the zipcode in admin Still getting this error...
Chris.A Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I called the USPS toll free number 1-800-344-7779 (7:00AM to 11:00PM EST), which came with the Web tool registration email from USPS. A gal there said the Password field doesn't matter anymore (I guess you can put anything there or use your USPS ID). I gave her my ID and asked her to activate me on their server, letting her know that I have osCommerce installed (which means there is no need for testing). She activated my ID on the server and waited on the phone while I checked and found it started working; it's been working fine ever since. For those whose sites were activated before but aren't now, you might call that toll free number and run the problem by someone there. Maybe they changed something on their server. You can also reasch someone by email: [email protected]
