document/catalog root for the live shop

I'm going live but I encounter a problem regarding the document/catalog root.

 

<includes/configure.php>

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/export/vhost/xxx.com/htdocs/catalog/');

<admin/includes/configure.php>

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/export/vhost/xxx.com/htdocs');

 

Is this correct? the changes that i've made for the live shop (like the above).. because at the localhost i put "C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/" which runs smoothly.

 

Are all doc/cat root for all servers are the same? only change the domain name.. I got the example from other website..
