forest-fairy Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 OK I went looking and I found it in smart ftp. catalog file languages english index php so I opened it in Front Page in html and there were boxes on the sides I presume were the set up of the front page like grids I saw the text in three grid type things, now do I just delete all that text and put in what I like? do I have to do it between any formatted text code? or do I just delete the text in there and put in my own, as for the grid boxes on the side I see they must have something to so with the photos in the special boxes, when I edit products I presume they would change is that right?. Batteling along :'( Thanks I await a reply so I can master the next step Lynn
bill110 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 If frontpage is like dreamweaver the design view in the panels is useless unless you are using STS. I do all my work in the code panel and open the page in my browser to see the results. As for editing the text You will want to delete everything between the single quotes so it looks kike this: define('TEXT_MAIN', ''); and put your text like this define('TEXT_MAIN', 'Your text here'); My Contributions Stylesheet With Descriptions Glassy Grey Boxtops Our Products Meta Tags On The Fly Password Protect Admin "No matter where you go....There you are" - Buccaroo Bonsai
