ifnh573 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 (edited) Today I received an email from UPS saying : Important Changes to UPS Online® Tools Require Urgent Attention UPS recently announced three new service options or features that may require UPS Online Tools users to make programming changes. Updates will enable you to enjoy the benefits of the new services and, in some cases, avoid problems that could arise from prior coding that is inconsistent with new UPS service levels. Blah, Blah,..etc. I will not post the entire email since it's pretty long. People who are signed up on UPS.com should receive such email. I have installed UPS XML contribution and worried that this contribution would not work with such changes. I am not a programmer and I don't know if there is anything that I need to do. I searched the forum and no one is yet to discuss about this issue. My question is, should I modify anything to continue to work with UPS XML contribution? Edited December 8, 2006 by ifnh573 Quote

wisconsin_man Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 It would appear that UPS is adding new service levels for World Express and making other small changes. I am going to be looking into this further to see what, if anything needs to be changed. My gut feeling is that the new service levels will need to be accomodated for in the code, but I am unsure at this point. Quote

I glanced over the latest Rates and Service documentation and the changes seem pretty minor. A few small changes are needed probably. Residential and Commercial is no longer needed I think. UPS will find out for itself it seems. Quote
