Table Method won't change

I had installed the Additional Shipping Options for Table Module Contribution. When I went into admin to configure it, I was not able to change the Table Method to Price instead of Weight. I thought there was a problem with the contrib.

 

However when I removed the contrib and converted my table.php back to the original table.php file, I have the same problem-when I click on the price radio button and click update, it shows weight chosen instead of price.

 

Anybody know of a fix?

This is crazy. It is a known bug. Yet it took posting about this issue under the contrib section, shipping section, pm contrib developer and here with no response from anyone. It took searching for a couple of hours and then finding a bug report.

So I guess when you run into a problem, besides looking in this forum also look in the bug report section.

But the bug report does not have a fix. It suggests making changes with paypal, but that does no good for those for us who are not using paypal.

 

Has anyone come up with a fix?

I can't find any information about this bug. I have tried to click the link, but can't find the bugreport.

Searching for the number 2742 does not give any answer either.

Anyone who have a solution to this problem?
