Subcategory images

Hi,

 

I've been searching high and low for a contribution that, when you click on a category in the category box, the subcategory images for that category will be displayed in the main part of the page. Those subcategory images then link to the appropriate subcategory products.

 

Right now if a category has subcategories and I click on that category (in the category box) the most recently added products are displayed instead of the subcategories. Please see http://www.urbantotshop.com/index.php?cPath=4 for an example. Note that the category "Clothing and Shoes" has 3 subcategories "Hard Soled Shoes", "Socks and Tights" and "Soft Soled Shoes" but instead of the subcategory images being displayed, the most recently added products are displayed instead.

 

Can anyone please point me in the right direction for a contribution. I have seen this done on other sites so I do believe there is a contribution out there that I can use.

If you have both subcategories and products in a category osc will only display the products. You have to make sure all products are in the subcategories in order for them subcategories to display.

 

Here is a contrib that allows you to display both (I've never used it).
