Order Problem - Payment Received From Order But No Order In Admin

Hello,

 

I would just like to ask for some advise. I have received a paypal payment that has been made through my online store at http://www.bgrcmodels.com

 

So i have received the payment stating that the payment came from my store, but i have not received an e-mail confirming this order has been made and when i go to Admin to view orders made, there is no order that is in the processing or paid section.

There is no sign of this order at all.

 

Is there anyway that i can track this order down or find out what it was, who made it, where it came from etc.

 

I placed an order on my own store as a test to see if i received and e-mail confirming an order has been made and i received the e-mail and my order was displayed in my Admin so i dont quite understan why this one has been missed out.

 

any advise would be good.

Not even an order with 'Preparing[PayPal IPN]' ?

 

With a PayPal payment email you should have also received the customer's email details, so if you can't find the order you should consider contacting them directly.

 

you might want to double check your paypal account to make sure that money was actually deposited, and that it wasn't a fake mail.

Yes,

 

I had checked my paypal account and the funds are there, I paypal payment header ststed that it was purchased from my online store too.

 

It just seems strange that nothing was created when these items were purchased ???

I have the same problem!!!! I have now 2 payments received at PAYPAL. I urgently need to know what to do. The system doesn´t send an order email. I double checked on the extra email feature for orders but still have the same problem. Please help!!!!!

Hello,

 

I have found out tha what happens is, when a customer adds items to their cart, then clicks on paypal to pay for their items, they are taken to paypal site. once payment has been made, the customer should then be directed back to your site to click on continue.

If you customer does not return back to your site after payment and does hit the continue button, there will be no order created in your admin. The customer has to complete checkout and be returned back to your home page for your osC to create the order and invoice etc.

 

I have had this problem only once but if you install the IPN it will solve your problem.

 

With IPN, once the payment has been varified through paypal, the details are sent right back to a database at your store, so if the customer does not return back to the store, the details will be sent to your adim as a customer order.

 

You should follow the steps in the install for the IPN and you will be fine.

Dont forget to sign into paypal and set the settings to return back to your checkout page,
