I just changed hosting companies.

I backed up all my files.

I created a new database with a new name. uploaded my files.

2 questions.

1. what files do I need to edit to point to the new database

2. How do I restore my backup.sql

Change the admin/includes/configure.php and includes/configure.php files. Once the site is working, go to admin->tools and restore the old database (it will have to be uploaded to your backups directory).
