Hi guyz...pardon my ignorance....i just bought a website thats using Os Commerce .When i access it at www.mydomain.com/admin it asks for username & password which i do have & it works .The prob is i need to change user & pass........HOW 2 ?

If it is like my OSC site, we had to go through our Host CPanel and password protect the admin directory. It is during that process that you set (create) a password. I can't remember if the User ID was also createable during that process but if it asks for a User ID then create a new one. If not,

 

I would imagine the User ID would be "admin" or "Admin" and your new password should gain you entry.

contact your hosting company and ask them to change it if you dont know how/cant

 

becuase of my type of server i had to have them set it up for me in the first place
