Wanted: Professional Assistance

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a professional company who specializes in osCommerce setups? I'm looking for someone who can set my site up quickly and properly. This does not include adding products, etc, just setup, configuration, and adding a couple of contributions.

Any suggestions? Is there a list of reputable professionals somewhere?

If someone is located in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area, all the better.

Thank you,

Timothy

Yes, Timothy I can recommend a small company who does a fine job. I think they charged us about $200 and it took about three days. When completed everything worked beautifully (and still does, of course). Email me privately and I'll point you in their direction.

If that figure seems high then consider this: we contacted three other companies. Our aim was a custom design but we wanted a full working basic OSC installed and working before any customization was undertaken. The first company we considered was in Australia. They wanted $1,500. The next was in Germany and they wanted $450. We then went to FreeLancer's website and sought out a qualified OSC script installer. There we found the company above and they had a long list of high recommendations from other satisifed customers. When they said $200 along with some basic customization, we jumped. We are very happy.

We've had some other struggles with other programmers though getting contributions or modules installed but eventually got them. We had our last programmer, a web designer from England, finish up work yesterday on adding a javascript header to our OSC (which we were told could not be done by several other web designers we considered).

Today we are 99% complete but I'm trying to wrap up a few niggly details but we could go live without those corrections.
