Tax showing at checkout but not calculating in order total

Hi i have a store and at checkout the tax is calculated, but not added to the order total.

 

Does anyone know what possible issues may be causing this?

prices are already shown including tax?

adding the tax a second time would then be silly (I for one would not like to pay that).

Price are show not including tax.

 

Let me rephrase ,

 

Taxes show in checkout, but are not calculated into the total.

 

everything else does calculate except for taxes.

 

Any ideas?

in admin --> configuration

set "display prices with tax" --> true

 

now your problem should be fixed. If you just want the tax included on checkout you would need to modify the checkout itself.
