How do I find the "Response Reason Code"?

I am looking for the "Response Reason Code" since I have an error that wont accept my credit cards. There is no error code and in order for authorize.net to help me i need that code. How do i find it?

Thanks for the link. For some reason I cant find the file authorize_direct.php which is needed to perform that test. Strange.
