Daily Sales Report

Is there a way to get a daily sales report that has all the orders for the day with shipping detail either in excel or other format??!!!

The backend is an SQL database... what you need to do is call an SQL person if you are

willing to pay. I am sure an SQL guy could whip that up in like 10 mins after looking at

how it stores the info in the tables.

that is hilarious. I hardly believe any "sql guy" can whip up an orders export within 10 minutes ...

being an sql gal myself, I think this kind of info is completely misleading.

I looked all over!! There was a BATCH PRINT CENTER that was promissing however it donsn't generate an xls or cvs... it makes PDFs :blush:

Hi Alan,

Well you really haven't been very clear on how this file has to be structured. The people you are sending it to may have very precise requirements.

 

imv, the pdf is a better format for such a handoff and that's the way we do it. I'm not sure how you would handle orders with multiple items and different product option within the same order in a xls or cvs. If you ignore those things then maybe it is a ten minute job for the expert!
