stormbringer Posted September 23, 2002 Share Posted September 23, 2002 There are several areas for localisation like date (dd/mm/yyyy), sequence of address information etc. It would be better if this could be set via the admin and all the relevant changes flow through. Currently you have to edit in several places the date, and with the address sequence (to be in the more natural street, town, city, county, postcode, country) this needs changes in more places than it should !! Also, within checkout process, address information doesn't take into account Zones, therefore if you've added in counties like we have, instead of displaying the friendly "West Sussex" type entry, it displays the raw code of "WSUS", which of course doesn't mean a great deal to the post office. Just wanted to put forward this as an item that would be great for inclusion before 2.2 goes gold. Having localisation take into account real world differences between countries.
